I am a multi-media freelance artist based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. My artistic practice focuses on accessibility and sustainability in the arts. Translated into my freelance work, I aim to help others with creative approaches and solutions. My work can take the form of artworks, in textiles, collages and illustrations; 1-2-1s and workshops, in evaluation, marketing and admin/organisation; and projects, in murals, installations and digital art/graphic design.

My Artistic Practice

I am primarily multi-media textile artist. I make tactile textiles inspired by the natural world, they come in sculptural forms often hanging from walls or as part of larger installations. My aim is to make sustainable and accessible art by breaking down conventional barriers between art and audience, allowing interaction to become a part of the process, allowing audiences to become participants. My processes are similarly tactile through methods of sewing, tufting, felting and embroidering, my aim is to use recycled materials in these processes wherever possible.

My ethos is that:

Art can be made from anything

Art can be for anyone

Art is meant to be interacted with

Art is for everyone

My practice has expanded recently spanning a range of formats such as products, commissions, digital art, graphic design, marketing, evaluation, workshops and 1-2-1s, admin and organisation. Please check out my freelance section for further details on these services available.
